Coretta Scott King
Coretta Scott King was an American author, activist, civil rights leader, and the wife of Martin Luther King Jr, born on April 27, 1927.
Following the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr, she worked tirelessly towards racial equality, women’s rights and the LGBT community. King had revolutionary hopes, dreams and aspirations, which we could all use today.
King sadly passed away on January 30th, 2006, leaving behind a legacy of literature and an everlasting impact on racial equality.
