Shakespeare’s Birthday Week

We all need a little distracting at the moment so I decided this week shall be another Shakespeare Week! After all, it is his birthday (or at least as close as we can guess) on Thursday and you can never have too much of William Shakespeare.

There was a Shakespeare Week on my blog a few weeks ago which was all about an amazing charity which teaches Shakespeare’s work to schools and families, encouraging children to develop an interest in literature. You can read more about that here.

This week, however, is here to celebrate the literary legend’s birthday and the legacy that he left behind. Let’s spend some of the lockdown reminding ourselves how truly great William Shakespeare was.
